What if my case number is longer than 7 digits?

Certain Trustee Offices will add alpha characters or leading zeros as part of their office case numbering convention.

Example: BK00531329 or BK9-05-012345-00

For this example, the 7 digit Case number would be 0531329.

Usually, the first two digits of your case number will begin with the year that the case was filed. (Example: Year Case Filed 2013 = 13) The next five numbers that follow the initial two digits will complete your 7 digit case number.
